Italy. Second chapter of Post Trilogy. A tale about the posthumous. The Arno River in Pisa is flooding, a group of friends are together at home and outside, it is unclear when the events take place, one of them seems more nervous, observes the others, laughs and from time to time warns us “mayday, mayday control tower” to signal some unknown danger, whether for himself or for everyone. He seems to be remembering or dreaming events, he is restless, some are photographing the river but his gaze is an omen, something is about to happen, or has it already happened?
The voiceover is his stream of consciousness, randomly picking up topics and images, so much so that, as in a dream, time and place become confused, yet it follows a precise sequence of events until the last and most unexpected of them.
