Italy. First chapter of the Trilogia Post trilogy - story of a metamorphosis and what came after. A pensive musician walks around a monastery, constantly checking his cell phone, smoking, sometimes sitting, sometimes standing and gazing at the horizon, seemingly intent on remembering past events or even dreaming. He hardly speaks, until he tells a single anecdote about himself and his band. He is restless, his gaze is an omen, something is about to happen or has already happened?
The voiceover is his stream of consciousness, randomly picking up topics and images, so much so that, as in a dream, time and place become confused. At the end, however, the protagonist transforms into, apparently, other ‘versions’ of himself. Who are they? Whose is the digitally defective voiceover? How can a painting get tired?
