I did quite sometime ago a video installation which was also the scenography for my second father Geppino Monti’s play “Dove hai lasciato la tua barca” written by Michele Perriera and with the superlative performance of Kadigia Bove. People applauded and the reception seemed quite good, nevertheless it was quite controversial in terms of visuals and performance. I have very dear memories of this, it was one of the few times where Geppino and I were actually friends, equals, working together as well as me working for his creativity and vision. It also became a kind of family thing when my mother and step sister and her friends arrived on location. I was really grateful to work with Kadigia, she’s the mother of two great friends, one of which has sadly passed away too soon. She gave a magnificent performance.
